Local Connections Through Open Studio Days in May

The internet offers many ways to share and connect, but it can also feel overwhelming. Social media platforms often prioritise quick updates and wide reach, which can make conversations shallow and fleeting. By focusing on my own website and local events, I want to create a space where conversations can be more meaningful and personal. This change allows me to connect more deeply with my local community and I invite you to join me in person.

I’m excited to announce my first upcoming open studio days. These will take place on

Saturday May 16

Monday May 18

Saturday May 23

Open from 8-1pm and 2-5pm

My address is Burnside, Mill Lane, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 5QS. I would be thrilled to welcome visitors and spend time together in a relaxed, friendly setting.

What to Expect at the Open Studio Days

During the open studio days, my studio will be open all day for visitors. Whether you want to browse artwork, ask questions, or just say hello, you’re welcome anytime. Here’s what you can look forward to:

  • A relaxed atmosphere where you can explore at your own pace

  • A chance to see new and recent work up close

  • Opportunities to chat about the creative process and ideas behind my pieces

  • A friendly space to meet others interested in art and community

  • Light refreshments will be available

These days are not about sales or pressure. They are about sharing space and stories, and enjoying the simple pleasure of art in person.

How to Find the Studio

The studio is located at Burnside, Mill Lane, Newbury, Berkshire, RG14 5QS. It’s easy to reach by car or public transport. If you’re coming by car, there is parking nearby. For those using public transport, local buses stop within walking distance at the central bus station.

If you want to plan your visit or have any questions, feel free to reach out through my website. I’m happy to provide directions or any other information you might need and will answer any questions promptly.

Why This Matters Now

In a world where digital connections often replace face-to-face interaction, taking time to meet locally feels more important than ever. These open studio days offer a chance to slow down, connect, and enjoy art in a way that feels genuine and personal.

Looking Ahead

I plan to continue sharing updates and stories on my website regularly. This will be the best place to find news about future events, new work, and thoughts on creativity and community.

I hope you will consider visiting during the open studio days in May. It would be a pleasure to meet you, share my work, and connect in person.
