An exploration of symbolism, this piece is simpler in style than many of my other works. Blue and gold contrast and complement one another, the eye is led around the composition like a clock face, here we can contemplate change through time. The gold sands of time slip by, and the space around the composition emphasizes what we lose but there's
beauty in what we gain.
